VIDT DAO (VIDT)
An Open Source Platform that Enables Verifiable Trust.- VIDT DAO is an open source platform that enables verifiable trust. It uses open source blockchain and timestamping technology to make data and documents verifiable.
- VIDT is the native token of the project. The current use cases for VIDT include:
- Data Validation: Each time someone timestamps a file, a VIDT transaction is made which records all necessary details into the blockchain, making the token an integral part of the validation process.
- Governance: VIDT allows holders to propose, and vote for, strategic decisions regarding business, marketing and technical developments. Every wallet holding a certain amount of VIDT has 1 vote.
- The project consists of the following major components working in conjunction:
- Incubator Treasury: a tool for the community to decide on the strategic and commercial path for VIDT DAO.
- Audit Committee: The audit committee is formed to perform sanity checks on submitted DAO proposals to comply with regulations.
- Awareness Team: The Awareness Team, formed by a team of volunteers, shares news about VIDT to engage the community.
- As at November 9th 2022, the total token supply of VIDT is 1,000,000,000. The current circulating supply is 770,011,370 (~77.00% of total supply).
