Po.et (POE)
A Decentralized Content Ownership Platform.- Po.et is a decentralized protocol for "content ownership, discovery and monetization in media". The project does so by building a ledger that records timestamped information about the user's contents and publications.
- The Po.et Nodes provide services in the network. Nodes publish content claims to IPFS and anchor these claims to the Bitcoin blockchain via a claim-batching transactions. This process is referred to as Proof of Existence.
- Anyone can run Po.et nodes use the network's functionalities for free. The POE token is currently an ERC-20 token. Yet, it intends to enable the creation of an incentivized content network in a future stage.
